Since the end of 2014, the Estonian Human Rights Centre is the contact point on research and analysis on gender equality issues in Estonia for the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). Framework contract is valid for four years.

Information that the Centre provides for EIGE on Estonia is used in EU-wide comparative research and analysis. This is used for developing EU policies that affect gender equality.

Kick-off meeting of the implementation of the framework contract takes place in Vilnius on 29 January 2015.

  • Gender Equality Index (2014) – production of Estonia’s country profile of the Gender Equality Index on gender violence
