Age is only a number! Does this apply also to the job market?

The population in both Estonia and Europe is ageing rapidly. Longer life expectancy means for many of us extended participation in the job market. Yet it’s the youngest and the oldest participants in particular who are facing discrimination based on their age. The conference will bring together stakeholders and experts to discuss the topics of age and discrimination in the context of employment. We will offer practical advice to employers on how to create a working environment that is fair and inclusive to all generations, and present the results of the latest survey by the Estonian Open Society Institute on age-based discrimination in the job market.
