The Estonian Human Rights Centre in cooperation with IOM Estonia is looking for 16-24-year-old Estonian youth and Ukrainian refugee youth to participate in a camp about human rights, equal treatment and democracy.
Interactive camp “Human Rights ABC”
- provides a thorough overview of important topics such as human rights, equal treatment, refugee rights, democracy and rule of law.
- will discover ways for every participant to stand for human rights and a more equal world in their own communities, by creating human rights and democracy themed projects – this can be anything like a video, a photography exhibition, a cooking course or an app. Every project will receive a stipend and participants will be guided by mentors to bring the projects to life.
- will mainly take place in English.
- is free for all participants. All costs are covered by the Estonian Human Rights Centre.
To participate, fill the registration form here by January 24, 2025. Please note that the number of participants is limited. We will provide feedback to those interested by January 31.
The project is funded by the Bilateral Relations Fund of the European Economic Area and Norway Grants.

Since you are here...
It is important to protect everyone’s human rights, because it helps to keep stability and peace in the society. There are many challenges for protection of human rights in Estonia: intolerance has really come out of the closet. Bad things happen when good people are too passive, but together we can make a change.
Estonian Human Rights Centre is the competent, accountable and impactful independent human rights organisation in Estonia. Your recurring or one-time donation helps to stand up for human rights everywhere: in courts, in the media, in schools, in the workplace, on the streets and in governmental venues.
Donating is easy, and you can use your credit card if donating from abroad.
