Interested in diversity and an inclusive work environment? Come for an internship or volunteer!
We are looking for interns or volunteers to help prepare and implement Diversity Month and Day. Diversity Month takes place in May and is part of European Diversity Month. This year, we focus on the opportunities and challenges of cultural diversity in the workplace and society at large. Diversity Day is celebrated on May 8th.
Activities preparing for the celebration of Diversity Month are varied – some are suitable for active communicators, others for those who prefer to work on their own. Together, we will find the right fit for you to contribute.
Activities you can participate in:
- Developing the concept for Diversity Month
- Preparing and executing events in May
- Communication with libraries and youth centers for participation in Diversity Month
- Preparation of communication materials
- Creating summaries and overviews on cultural diversity topics
We offer:
- The opportunity to be part of Diversity Month events
- The chance to contribute to creating inclusive work environments
- The chance to expand your knowledge on diversity
- Location and time-flexible activities. We agree on activities that suit each individual’s skills, abilities, and possibilities.
Practical information:
- Let us know about your interest at helen.talalaev@humanrights.ee by March 7, 2024.
- Activities will take place between March 15 and May 31, 2024.
Since you are here...
It is important to protect everyone’s human rights, because it helps to keep stability and peace in the society. There are many challenges for protection of human rights in Estonia: intolerance has really come out of the closet. Bad things happen when good people are too passive, but together we can make a change.
Estonian Human Rights Centre is the competent, accountable and impactful independent human rights organisation in Estonia. Your recurring or one-time donation helps to stand up for human rights everywhere: in courts, in the media, in schools, in the workplace, on the streets and in governmental venues.
Donating is easy, and you can use your credit card if donating from abroad.
