Donating is very personal and value-based, which is why it is important for us that the activities and funding of Estonian Human Rights Centre are clear and completely transparent. Come and visit the centre virtually and safely on December 1st! Find out who our people are and what we do! How we choose litigation and how your donations helps to make Estonian society more beautiful for everyone.
During Giving Tuesday, it’s as if you’ll have the Estonian Human Rights Centre in your pocket! Throughout the day, we will do live sessions on our Facebook and Instagram pages – we will talk about centre’s activities, give out gifts and answer people’s questions. It is important that our supporters trust us and see that the money donated to the centre always goes to the right place.
How to donate? As last year, th e donation environment “Ma armastan aidata” (I love to help) created by Swedbank and the Good Deed Foundation will join Giving Tuesday. Swedbank wants to increase the impact of donations by contributing 10,000 euros if 10,000 euros are raised, 20,000 euros if 20,000 euros are raised and 30,000 euros if 30,000 or more euros are raised. Therefore, we invite everybody to donate on the “Ma armastan aidata” website during Giving Tuesday, because the more people donate in the donation environment on 1st of December, the more Swedbank will contribute. Donate to the Estonian Human Rights Centre!
The Centre’s Facebook live broadcasts on Tuesday, December 1st:
- At noon, 12 pm, about the Centre in general – who we are and what are the Centre’s main areas of activity?
- At 2 pm, Q&A – we answer questions sent by people.
- At 4 pm, refugees topic – the Centre’s refugee lawyers will talk more about their work.
Live broadcasts last about 7-15 minutes, and at the end of each broadcast, prizes will be raffled between those who have donated to the Estonian Human Rights Centre during Giving Tuesday. Before, between and after the broadcasts, we will also live broadcasts on our Instagram page, where you will also be able to get acquainted with the human rights ambassadors.

Since you are here...
It is important to protect everyone’s human rights, because it helps to keep stability and peace in the society. There are many challenges for protection of human rights in Estonia: intolerance has really come out of the closet. Bad things happen when good people are too passive, but together we can make a change.
Estonian Human Rights Centre is the competent, accountable and impactful independent human rights organisation in Estonia. Your recurring or one-time donation helps to stand up for human rights everywhere: in courts, in the media, in schools, in the workplace, on the streets and in governmental venues.
Donating is easy, and you can use your credit card if donating from abroad.
