In addition to the yearly report “Human Rights in Estonia”, the Human Rights Centre is also conducting monitoring activities and other studies. The central theme of all these is human rights and their implementation in Estonia.
HRC and its experts have conducted the following monitoring activities:
- Studies for FRALEX (2008-2011) – experts from all 27 EU Member States compiled reports on different human rights issues on their own State.
- Supported Voluntary Return of Asylum Seekers and Refugees (dec 2008), upon order from Migratsioonifond.
- “The Responsibility of Public Authorities under the European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR)”, upon order from British Institute of International and Comparative Law, November 2008.
- Media monitoring (sept-nov 2007) – on the basis of that monitoring the team of experts compiled an analysis on how Estonian media perceives and, thus, handles human rights
